Both numbers are single digits (0 to 9), so sums range from 0 to 18. Each sheet comes with an answer key on a separate page.
Teaching tips
- Sort the facts into strategy groups: +0, +1, +2, doubles, near doubles and make ten. Only a handful of "hard" facts are left.
- Use the stacked format to preview how columns work in two-digit addition.
- Keep a list of the facts a child misses and print the next sheet when those are the focus of the week.
