What's on this worksheet
Facts from 9 × 1 to 9 × 12, with 9 sometimes first and sometimes second. Choose "In order first" to start with 9 × 1, 9 × 2, 9 × 3 and so on. Each sheet comes with an answer key on a separate page.
Teaching tips
- For 9 × 7, the tens digit is 6 (one less than 7) and the ones digit makes the digits add to 9, so the answer is 63.
- Try the finger trick: hold up ten fingers and fold down the seventh. Six fingers are on the left and three on the right: 63.
- Or multiply by 10 and subtract once: 9 × 7 = 70 − 7.
