What's on this worksheet
Two fractions with the same denominator (2 to 12). Some sums are greater than 1, and the answer key shows those as mixed numbers. Each sheet comes with an answer key on a separate page.
Teaching tips
- Stress that the denominator stays the same because the size of the pieces does not change.
- If students have not learned to simplify yet, accept unsimplified answers. The key shows both forms.
